The Natural History Museum of Venice also produces thematic books, posters, leaflets and information sheets, including materials designed for use in the field. The publications also include materials for younger audiences, designed to engage visitors with the knowledge and discovery of the natural heritage.

Big reptiles exhibited at the Natural History Museum are the proganists of this narration and these colouring pictures. For children aged 3 to 6 years old.

Three posters (100×70 cm) illustrating more than 100 animals living in our sea. For each species are explained size, scientific name and common name.
Marine Fauna of Adriatic Sea (tablets set)
These transportable tablets are made in plastic to be used outside, for beach walking, boating trips, diving. For each animal is indicated the probability to meet them during diving and the level of danger.

You can purchase our exhibition guide at the museum’s bookshop. The guide is available either in Italian or English. It is very detailed, thoroughly illustrated and rich of curiosities about many specimens on display.

Since 1927, the Natural History Museum of Venice is actively engaged in scientific research and dissemination through a well-established publishing programme, which includes several series and specialist publications.
