Since 2006, the museum’s researchers have been collecting data about birds nesting and overwintering in the Comune di Venezia.
The project has ended with the publication of an “Ornithological atlas” including over 150 descriptive and photographic entries of the species monitored, and the maps showing the birds’ distribution.
With the conclusion of the project, the museum offers a day dedicated to birds, with a series of educational conferences and the organisation of thematic workshops for families.
The new publication will be presented during the day.
