A DINOSAUR IN VENICE

Since 2012, the Museum of Natural History of Venice has lunched a reserach programme aiming at an increased awareness of its palaeontological holdings, and in particular of the numerous items regarding dinosaurs and the other great reptiles of the past, including the anatomical study of the famous example of Ouranosaurus Nigeriensis.
In order to spread the initial results of the research, but also to reveal curiousities and recent discoveries about dinosaurs, the Museum is arranging a day of thematic conferences and workshops for families. Please note that the activities will be held in Italian.

For the occasion, from December 7th 2013 to January 12th 2014, the Natural History Museum of Venice will host a full-size reconstruction of the dinosaur Dracorex hogwartsia, made entirely by a team of Italian scientists and artists.
