After the unexpected reports of monk seals in the Lagoon of Venice, the Museum of Natural History, in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice and LIPU Venice section, is organizing a conference-projection of this particular species of marine mammal.

How many monk seals live in the northern Adriatic?
How do they behave?
What factors have contributed to their near extinction and what their recovery?
You can live together with humans?

These and other questions will be answered the Croatian historian William Klinger, the naturalist Antonio Village and documentary filmmaker and Chairman of the Group Monk Seal,Emanuele Coppola.
