After the conclusion of the first phase of the ARVe Project (Atlas of Butterflies in Veneto), dedicated to the knowledge of the butterflies in the Veneto Region, the Museum offers a day devoted to butterflies on March 9th.

In the Cetacean Gallery a photographic exhibition is held, displaying a selection of shots of the vast photographic archive created during the project. In the first three years of the project, about 200 volunteers have collected more than 67,000 observations and thousands of documentative pictures.

The exhibition is open to visitors free of charge during the Butterfly Day (March 9th 2013)
From March 10th to April 7th 2013, the exhibition is open to the public during the opening hours of the Museum. Entrance with museum ticket
