The National Association of Science Museums (ANMS) brings together institutions that engage in conservation, research and communication in science. Its tasks include the protection of national treasures of scientific museology, support to the educational and informative, the promotion of agreements between institutions to facilitate exchange of experience and for the formulation of common rules.
To implement its program the ANMS proposes each year conferences on topics of general interest. The Natural History Museum will organize and host the XXIII National Congress, articulated as usual in most sessions, oral presentations and poster exhibition on specific issues.
