Natural History Museum of Venice Giancarlo Ligabue

The Exhibition

Young students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice will present to the public the results of their artistic studies, giving a new interpretation to the scientific collections preserved in the Museum.

On show will be a selection of anatomical charts created by the students during the Artistic Anatomy course, presented side by side with the original museum relics on which their study was based.

The exhibition consolidates the years-long interaction between the Academy and the Museum, in which the scientific rigour of the researcher encounters the artist’s versatility, illustrating the inextricable symbiosis that exists between art and science.
