The great carnivores return
The presence of the bear, wolf and lynx in Veneto
March 29th 2014
Museo di Storia Naturale, Venice
In recent years, large predators have been repopulating the Veneto region at an ever-faster pace. But the coexistence with important animals from anecological point of view, but which have always been considered dangerous to men and in competition with their activities, can still cause conflict with local populations. Correct information is therefore essential for encouraging a peaceful coexistence between men and predators, enabling the animals to continue to live in the Veneto alongside the centuries-old activities of mankind.
Sponsored by Regione del Veneton e Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi
In collaboration with Club Alpino Italiano, Comitato Scientifico Veneto Friulano and Giuliano.
